There is a type of cookie I love. I used to get them at a bakery near my house in FL. They were these chewy, almond-rific, chocolate dipped crescents.
I recently had a similar cookie and it reminded me how much I miss them. So I made some. Turns out they are easy and only use a handful of ingredients.
Is it just me or is Christmas barreling down on us?
I suppose it’s because Thanksgiving was so late in the year. It leaves so much less time for holiday baking. Thank goodness my Christmas cards are done and most of my shopping is done.
August? Already? I can’t believe how fast the summer has flown by.

Life is full of disappointments. I promise these cookies are not one of them.
These flew off the plate. One little girl I know pretty much ate her weight in these cookies. Thank goodness she doesn’t weigh much!
