Welcome to Sugar Coated Sarah. My name is Sarah and I love to play in the kitchen! I decided (at the urging of my lovely husband) it was time to start a website to think “out loud” about my baking and cooking.

Baking was something I always enjoyed while growing up. In the past 15 years I’ve taught myself to cook and bake more elaborately through trial and error, lots of reading, managing a commercial bakery and watching cooking shows. Most kitchen things have come easy for me because I have a passion for it. (Although there are a few simple things I seem to be impaired on. . .like rice and pancakes! But that’s another post!)
